here's a description i made of Light Behind Your Eyes - MCR

The starting instrument is a somber violin that leaves a feeling of grief, or that something tragic happened, followed by a hint of soft guitar in the background a few seconds after, overtime fully transitioning to instruments like bass, drums, and so on, while still keeping a rhythm that aches your heart. As the music starts to swell, Gerard’s voice gets more desperate for the listener to listen to him, and hear their calls, as if this was going to be the very last time you would ever see him alive, and the backing guitars and drums express that sense of distress in the singer's cry. Finally, near the end, it all dies down, Gerard’s voice sounds faintly weak, telling the listener one last time to ‘never let them take the light’ behind their eyes, before it all fades, likewise to that of a dying firefly. It leaves a sorrow, bitter taste in your mouth, yet, it leaves you with a sense of hope in your heart.
